Bryte Wave is Follett Shelf's newest reading environment used to view e-books. Bryte Wave provides online access via the browser. The app will download the book to your device. Preferences for the cloud / app are set up in the student account under "Preferences."
Destiny Quest is the app that access the Destiny Quest on-line card catalog. It is not necessary for e-books.
Destiny Quest will access the Quest version of the on-line card catalog.
Use Destiny Quest to search the catalog from your mobile device.
The Fiat LIbrary subscribes to two types of e-books: Reference e-books for the upper grades via The Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL) and fiction and non-fiction via FollettShelf. GVRL e-books are read on-line and multiple access is provided. These books are accessed from the databases on the Home page and from specific research guides.
FollettShelf, which is like a virtual bookshelf for the fiction and non-fiction e-books, can be accessed with a computer, android or IOS device. Information is provided here to help you check out fiction and non-fiction books. Some of the titles are multiple use while others are 1:1.
To read these books on your devices, you will need to download apps specific to your device. The PDF documents provide specific steps to download the app, along with the url, if needed while the videos provide a visual guide.
The Reference Guides provide a visual overview of the FollettShelf functions.
Students in grades 5 through 8 receive their user name and password in Library class. It is the same user name and password that is used to access their Destiny account. For grades K through 4, user names and passwords are sent home at the beginning of the school year.
A generic password is available as well, but the generic password is for on-line reading only and does not check out books. Students may obtain the password from the library.

The Destiny Quest Mobile includes all the titles in the library catalog, including e-books. It allows mobile catalog browsing and e-book access.
FollettShelf formats access the e-book catalog directly.
Bryte Wave is necessary for reading the e-books.
